About the webinar
In collaboration with the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and prominent retailers including Lowe’s, Target, The Home Depot, Tractor Supply Company, Wayfair, and Williams Sonoma, Optera recently launched the Direct-Use Product Emissions Database (DPED). The tool is designed to help align how retailers measure, compare, and communicate greenhouse gas emissions coming from the direct use of their sold products like appliances, electronics, and outdoor power equipment.
Representatives from Lowe’s, RILA, and Optera sat down for a panel discussion to talk about how this data could impact your next round of emissions reporting.
The panel discussion covers:
- Common challenges and opportunities in calculating Use of Sold Product emissions
- The origins of this new database and its collaborative methodology
- A demonstration of the product categories and data included, and how to interpret it
